Style and Fashion + Bloggers (2.0)

Of course before starting this article let me give you some updates:

- I am quite against John Galliano's come back but I guess we have to give him a last chance...
-Do not forget that The Face starts tomorrow and I am really looking forward to seeing how it goes and I hope that I'll like it!.
-NFW has started and I have already seen some incredible shows (not that I am in NY attending the show, even if it is my dream...) so I think that I will be posting my favorite looks very soon.

Well enough with the updates, I wanted today to talk about style and fashion because I think that when you are a fashion blogger and when you are in the industry it is important to make the difference between those two words and sometimes when I go on "fashion blogs" I am really disappointed because the blog is mostly about "style" and not about fashion.

Well to help you understand my point of view I need to give you my definitions of fashion and style. For me fashion is the all thing, it's the big picture, it's the combination of the people (designers, editors, photographers, models, creative directors, critics, fashionistas... everybody that makes the magic happen for me it's not only about the clothes whereas style is a part of all of that, it's the way you make the clothes work so for me it's totally different (and maybe I am wrong but that's the way I see it).


So basically when I think about a Fashion blog, I think about a blog where I can find some inspiring ideas about the world of fashion, like some kind of online magazines but more subjective, where someone can express his/her idea of fashion, but also give some information about what is happening in the fashion industry and their point of view about that... Basically I want to see ARTICLES !! yes I said it, I don't want to go on a "fashion blog" and see only pictures of the owner wearing different clothes everyday (of course if you are interested in fashion you'll dress in a fashion way but pictures are not giving us your thoughts), that's why I call those bloggers "style bloggers" and not "fashion blogger"; for me they use blogs to express their style and to inspire other people. They help people understand the concept of style and it's great but I think that we have to make the difference here!

Well talking about bloggers I just read an article about bloggers and I really liked it, it was about finding the new Bryan Boy, well I think that the blogging industry (If I can call it that way) is really closed and that there are not a lot of "Fashion bloggers" out there.
 I think that before the idea of inviting fashion bloggers into shows came out, there were not a lot of blogs and that it did multiply after we heard that more and more fashion bloggers were invited to the shows. I started my blog also to get some attention but I did it also to exerce my writing, I didn't to it to inspire people, the purpose was and is really selfish and I am ok with it, I can say what I want to say and now I don't really care about the views and all (I am lying, of course I do ahahah); what I just wanted to say here is that we should focus on writing and expressing ourselves through this platform instead of looking for fame.

I can conclude this article by saying that there are many different types of bloggers who are different but who share the same passion and mostly the same interests. (very short conclusion but I am out of ideas, sorry).
